Day 1: Departure

Amboseli National Park is a perfect place for game viewing as it hosts an enormous range of wildlife. This is the best spot on the continent for viewing numerous herds of free-ranging elephants. They are in such abundance here you are guaranteed sightings.

Framing the park is the towering presence of the Mt. Kilimanjaro, the largest mountain in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Its snow-capped summit will peek out when the clouds break at dawn or dusk.

A Pack & Go Safari Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi early in the morning and drive you to Amboseli National Park.  Amboseli National Park is well known for its backdrop scenery of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, that dominates the landscape. Upon arrival, you start with a game drive from the park’s gate to Kibo Safari camp for lunch and a short rest. Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day 2

This will be a full day of game viewing drives. Plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well.

There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning at leisure. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive.

Day 3

Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru through the scenic Great Rift Valley.  Stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of what is the world’s largest Valley, said to be even visible from space. Descend to the floor of the Rift Valley and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you immediately embark on a game drive that takes you around the shores of the lake, the baboon cliff and then arrive in time for lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Evening will be spent at the Lake Nakuru shore where you will have a breathtaking sight of thousands of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 4

Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world-famous game reserve, the Masai Mara arriving at AA Lodge Mara in time for lunch. Short siesta and at 1600 hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 650sq miles of the Masai Mara adjoin Tanzania’s well‐known Serengeti, forming one ecosystem. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra.

Day 5

You’ll spend the day game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera.

Depart after breakfast at 07:00-am for a full-day of game-viewing-drive across the rich savannah, Hemingway trails and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its abundance of great animal herd. It’s a wildlife paradise! Virtually every type of animal is to be found here… we’re doing a full day of game-drive today to maximize your chances of new discoveries, new experiences and enjoyments to the fullest! Spotted; speckled and dotted are the meanings of “Mara”. This is the descriptive name given by the Masai people for this beautiful land of trees, shrub, savannah grassland and shadows made by clouds that hover over the plains.

You can experience a One-hour visit to a traditional Maasai Village (Extra cost – US$20.00pp). You will interact with the Maasai villagers there, see their mud hut dwellings, known as Manyatta’s, and learn about their unique way of life. There’s also an option of buying hand-made items of craft and jewelry from the Maasai women.
